Atlanta – On October 29, 2024, Atlanta’s Ivy Showroom became the epicenter of female empowerment with the launch of the Power WalkHER Global 25, honoring women who redefine leadership across industries. Held on President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf’s birthday, the event celebrated trailblazers like White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre, UN Ambassador Linda Thomas-Greenfield, entertainment mogul Mona Scott-Young, and TV One President Michelle Rice.
Founded by entrepreneur Barkue Tubman, Power WalkHER highlights leaders transforming fields like government, business, media, and global innovation. Honorees include finance pioneer Dr. Jatali Bellanton, FIFA executive Isha Johansen, and Ndidi Nwuneli of the ONE Campaign. The initiative goes beyond accolades, launching a podcast series, summits, and mentorship programs to create actionable partnerships for change.
