BuyVet, now rebranded as Think Veterans First, is a remarkable organization dedicated to shining a spotlight on the importance of veteran-owned businesses. Their mission is clear: to create a platform that unites veteran entrepreneurs, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mutual support. With a resolute focus, they are set to launch the Think Veterans First campaign in 2022, reaching out to the American public, veterans, veteran organizations, and government entities.
The heart of their endeavor lies in strengthening veteran-owned businesses, recognizing that their success ripples through local and state economies, potentially leading to the employment of more veterans. This mission aligns perfectly with their vision – becoming the driving force behind the “Think, Shop, Buy Veteran First” movement in the United States.
This vision was an establishment of a veteran network named VET-NET. This network serves as a hub for veteran support, mentorship, and the exchange of best practices.The forthcoming 3rd annual VET OHIO EXPO, scheduled for Thursday, September 7th, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Franklin Park Adventure Center (755 E. Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio), stands as a testament to their commitment.
Founded by Regina Rembert, a retired U.S. Army member and the visionary behind Buy-Vet, now Think Veterans First, this event brings the community together to celebrate and support veteran-owned businesses. Attendees will have the chance to interact with these businesses that business landscape.
