The Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl announced that student registration is now open for the 2024 Career Fair, to be held on February 22nd and 23rd at the New Orleans Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Legacy Bowl, a prominent event presented by the Black College Football Hall of Fame, is entering an exciting new chapter with a multi-year partnership with Allstate as its exclusive title sponsor. Henceforth, the event will be known as the Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl.
Doug Williams, Super Bowl XXII MVP and Co-Founder of the Black College Football Hall of Fame, expressed immense excitement about this transformative sponsorship, emphasizing how Allstate’s commitment aligns with the shared values of expanding HBCU opportunities and promoting excellence within the HBCU community.
The Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl stands out as a postseason all-star game, showcasing the talents of the best NFL draft-eligible players from HBCUs. Held annually during Black History Month in New Orleans, Louisiana, and broadcast live on NFL Network, the event serves as a week-long celebration of Black culture and history. Notably, it concludes with the Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl Career Fair, a testament to the organizers’ commitment to fostering opportunities for HBCU students.
The recent announcement by the Black College Football Hall of Fame revealed the first players selected for the 2024 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl. Representing North Carolina Central University, Quarterback Davius Richard, and representing Florida A&M University, Quarterback Jeremy Moussa, have been chosen for this prestigious event. Both players are recognized for their outstanding contributions to HBCU football and exemplify the excellence that the Legacy Bowl aims to showcase.
Scheduled for Saturday, February 24th, 2024, at Tulane University’s Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana, the Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl promises to be a highlight of the football calendar.
In addition to the on-field excitement, the Black College Football Hall of Fame and the National Football League will host the HBCU Combine on February 19th at the Ochsner Sports Performance Center, mirroring the format of the NFL Combine.

The Black College Football Hall of Fame, a non-profit organization located at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio, was founded in 2009 to honor the greatest football players, coaches, and contributors from Historically Black Colleges and Universities. With 113 inductees and major initiatives like the Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl, the organization has awarded over $300,000 in direct support to HBCUs and HBCU scholarships since its inception. Other initiatives include The Ozzie Newsome GM and Quarterback Summits, conducted in partnership with the NFL.
