Event Spotlight: 11th Annual All Disabilities Festival

Sharon S Gordon July 11, 2025

Nicole Lady Xtreme Carter, Founder and CEO of UPFAD (Unlimited Possibilities for All Disabilities) to host the 2025 All Disabilities Festival.

A Celebration of Inclusion, Empowerment, and Community

Presented by UPFAD | Sunday, July 13, 2025 |

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Dorrian Green Park, Downtown Columbus

Columbus is about to light up with purpose and positivity as Unlimited Possibilities For All People (UPFAD) hosts its 11th Annual All Disabilities Festival — a powerful day devoted to celebrating the strengths, voices, and vibrant lives of individuals with disabilities.

Taking place at the scenic Dorrian Green Park, just behind COSI, this free, family-friendly event will transform downtown into a high-energy hub of fun, resources, and representation. At the heart of the festival is a mission to elevate inclusion and break down barriers — all while uplifting the talents, stories, and everyday achievements of the disability community.

What to Expect???:

  • Talent Showcase
Be inspired by performers from across the disability spectrum showing off their incredible talents in music, dance, spoken word, and more.
  • Christmas UPFAD Marketplace
Shop and support local vendors offering everything from handmade goods to accessible services in a festive “Christmas in July” atmosphere.
  • Toy Giveaway
Over 1,000 toys will be given away — because every child deserves to feel the magic of celebration.
  • Children’s Water & Fun Zone
A splash-tastic area for kids to cool off and play in a safe, family-friendly environment.
  • Sensory-Friendly Activities & Scavenger Hunt
Designed with care for families and children with sensory needs — because inclusion means everyone.
  • Delicious Food Trucks
Come hungry — we’ve got something for every craving.

And that’s just the beginning. With live entertainment, resource booths, and community organizations on hand, the All Disabilities Festival is more than an event — it’s a movement.

???? A Word from the Founder

“We are organizing an amazing festival this year and are thrilled that more and more people are taking interest in this great cause,” says UPFAD Founder and CEO Nicole “Lady Xtreme” Carter. “This is an event that highlights the importance of inclusion, and we’re proud to provide a space where families and individuals with disabilities can come together, be celebrated, and find resources that empower them to thrive.”

???? Community Power

This festival wouldn’t be possible without incredible support from community partners and sponsors, including:
Franklin County Office of Diversity and Inclusion, ADAMH, CareSource, Greater Columbus Arts Council, COSI, Columbus Gospelfest, Ohio Sickle Cell, Boundless, Kidslinked, Columbus Parks and Recreation, Rhema Christian Center, Blue Spectrum Band, The African American Male Wellness Walk, NCUS (National Center for Urban Solutions), The Praise Reporter, and Urban Trendsetters News Magazine & Media.
