Chrissy Teigen, a social media star, model, TV host, brand endorser, cookbook author and a savvy entrepreneur, is adding another career to her portfolio: a domestic lifestyle influencer. In her newest collaboration with retail giant Target, she has debuted a cookware collection called The Cravings. The collection includes a wide range of almost everything needed in the kitchen.
Named after a cookbook that she also authored, her collection mainly features kitchen tabletop and cookware items. It also features basically “all the essentials that Chrissy uses to prep, cook and serve up her favorite recipes,” the company said in a statement. It includes everything from cast iron Dutch ovens and cutlery to glass and dishware.
All in all, the collection, which she calls “a natural extension” of her passion for food and people, will feature a total of at least 40 items.
Even more, she has coincidingly launched “Cravings: Hungry for More,” the exclusive edition sequel to her popular cookbook “Cravings: Recipes for All the Food You Want to Eat.” It is also available in Target stores nationwide.
Both Target and Chrissy knew they were meant for each other. Chrissy noted that her daughter Luna and her husband John Legend were frequent shoppers at Target. On the other hand, Mark Tritton, Target executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, cited that Chrissy’s first-ever modeling stint was in a swimsuit campaign for a Target catalog.
“When we learned she was launching her own kitchen and tabletop line, we both knew it would be right at home at Target,” Tritton said.
