The Urban Trendsetters 1 Million 1 Trendsetters Voice and Vision Tour is a multi-city campaign that promotes free national access to broadcast TV. As the first 100% Black-Owned and operated broadcast network in the United States, we aim to celebrate and raise awareness of Urban Trendsetters Television while highlighting the importance of Black-owned media for the Black community and culture.
The tour includes a 12-hour “watch and win” telethon on November 21st, as well as video drops and televised events from local and national Black expos, conferences, and festivals, allowing communities to see themselves on TV. We will search for original content from Black creatives and show hosts, conduct interviews with community leaders, spotlight Black business owners and entrepreneurs, and host career and opportunity fairs and networking events.
Our goal is to showcase the power of free Black-owned broadcast television and provide a platform for individuals and organizations to support Black-owned media while promoting their own businesses, non-profits, events, and resources.
