The 28th Anniversary Dream Awards

Columbus, Ohio – As part of the King Arts Complex 28th Anniversary Celebration, the Women’s Service Board will present the 28th Annual Dream Awards Reception on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. in the Barbara R. Nicholson Auditorium.

The King Arts Complex pays tribute to individuals and businesses within the Columbus community that have had a profound impact on the King Arts Complex and the Columbus community. The Dream Awards presentation is a celebration of service and is open to the public.  Invited guests include major donors and key civic and cultural leaders.

This award is the highest honor bestowed upon a supporter of the King Arts Complex’s. “We know that community benefits when we support the King Arts Complex”, explained Women’s Service Board President Marsha Sullivan.

This ceremony sets the tone for the King Arts Complex anniversary gala themed “Honoring 50 Years: The Voting Rights Act Of 1965” held on Saturday May 16th at the King Arts Complex.
This year’s recipients are:
• Mark Corna (King Arts Complex Board Member)
• Louise Lane (KAC Volunteer)
• Emanuel Tabernacle Church (Community Service)
• Park National Bank (Corporation)
• Ron Bryant (Professional Services)
In accepting the award, these honorees join a distinguished group of past recipients, to name a few:Nationwide, Alvis House, Honda of America, Radio One, The Smoot Corporation, Aminah Robinson, Ellen B. Williams Johnson, Kojo Kamau and numerous other deserving people.
