Columbus, Ohio – Career Town Networks, The Ohio Champions of Diversity Awards and the Ohio Conference NAACP announced today the names of Ohio companies Nominated to receive Diversity Awards for their outstanding efforts. The Awards will be presented on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at the Lincoln Theatre, 769 East Long Street in Columbus, Ohio.

Created by Ohio publishing legend, the late Amos H. Lynch, Sr., and the Lynch family,The Ohio Champions of Diversity Awards is designed to highlight and recognize the contributions of individuals and corporations who demonstrate outstanding efforts in Diversity Leadership, Development, Supplier, Workforce and Community Outreach.
The 5th Annual Ohio Champions of Diversity Awards will present awards to 2 Pioneer Award winners: Cleveland’s own, Steve Harvey, National TV & Radio Talk Show Host and Dr. Yung-Chen Lu founder of the Asian Festival for their pioneer and trendsetting efforts in diversity in Ohio. This year, the Ohio Champions of Diversity Amos H. Lynch, Sr. Legend Award will pay tribute to the Life and Legacy of Amos H. Lynch, Sr. who passed away on July 24, 2015. “The5th Annual Ohio Champions of Diversity Awards is marked by sadness and celebration with the recent loss of our founder, the late Amos H. Lynch, Sr.,” said Orville Lynch, Jr., Career Town Networks CEO. “We look forward to honoring Ohio companies, our Pioneer Award winners Dr. Lu and Steve Harvey as well as hosting a special tribute to the Life and Legacy of my Uncle Amos,” continued Lynch.
The Champions of Diversity Awards with also present awards to corporations with 500 or more employees who demonstrate excellence in the following 5 areas of corporate diversity: 1. Leadership 2. Development 3. Workforce 4. Supplier and 5. Community Outreach.
The Ohio Champions of Diversity Awards Luncheon & Career Fair is organized and ran by All Ohio Small Minority Owned and Operated Businesses that include Career Town Networks, Spencer 4Higher Media, Whitehouse Media Group, T Communications, Black Central Creative, Basement Deep Media Group and Urban Trendsetters Media.
